Mountain Biking
Mountain Biking to help improve physical and mental health and well-being. Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland, part of Scottish Cycling is working in partnership with Nature Scot, Public Health Scotland, Trek & others to deliver this project. Participants will be taken out by qualified leaders with a background in Mental Health. 6 sessions that will last 2.5hrs and will take participants on suitable trails from Camperdown Park. Over 18s, bikes and helmets will be provided. Contact Paul.

Community Listening Service
Many of us find it helpful to talk, particularly during stressful events at home or work, or after a bereavement or loss.
Telling your story uninterrupted and judgment-free could help you to sort through your emotions. You may then be able to rediscover your strength and find a way forward. The service is available to anyone registered with a Tayside GP practice, to make an appointment call or email.

Vitamin B12 or B9 (commonly called folate) deficiency anaemia occurs when a lack of vitamin B12 or folate causes the body to produce abnormally large red blood cells that can't function properly.
SAM (Self Help for Anxiety Management) (Age 12 yrs +)
This app provides self-help techniques to help manage overall anxiety. Track anxiety levels, triggers, and build a personal tool kit in the app. It also provides interactive guidance for practicing self-help and a closed social community to engage with others. If you’re looking for holistic snapshot of your anxiety and how to cope with it, this may be the app for you.
Headspace (age 12yrs+)
Meditation app. Learn to relax. 10mins free for 10 days then small subscription.
Safespot (age 6-12 yrs)
Downloadable app (android and IOS) developed by a child psychiatrist who used to work in FV. Promotes mental wellbeing by teaching coping skills.

By sharing people’s real-life experiences, healthtalk.org provides free, reliable information about health issues. You can watch people share their stories about cancer, autism, motor-neurone disease, pregnancy, drugs, depression and much more.
